Yoga & Mindfulness Practice


Vanessa began practicing yoga when she was suffering from torturous insomnia and serious depression while her life went upside down. She enjoyed the feeling of lightness and clarity she has received from being on the mat. However, Vanessa was still suffering a lot when she was off the mat.

Fortunately, she had a chance to deepen her yoga knowledge with Janet Lau in 2016. She completed her 200-hour Yin Yang Vinyasa Teacher Training and continued the 500-hour Mindfulness Teacher Training in Hong Kong. 

Inspired by Janet and Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, Vanessa realized the importance of taking care of her emotions which helped her to understand herself better and accept whoever she is. Through her teaching, Vanessa wants to share with her students that “it’s okay to be imperfect but never stop trying to be the best of ourselves”. She believes “as a teacher, we are also a student of our students.”

Candlelight Yin

Thursday 7:00 to 8:00pm

A healing practice focused on realigning and stretching the connective tissues of the body. Students will experience long held deep stretches with the purpose of connecting with the rhythm of the breath and cultivating a meditative mind.

Suitable for beginners and students who want to create balance for their body and mind.
